Qualitative and Quantitative Studies on Biopigment Producing Algal Regime from Marine Water Resources of Sundarban Region

The current scientific studies have shown that extensive quantities of synthetic pigments are used worldwide in diverse industries. Synthetic enormous toxicity issues compared to natural colorants and dyes industrial usage. Diverse microbial communities, including fungi, bacteria, archaea, yeast biopigment producers. However, the aforementioned biopigments expensive, least efficient, less eco-friendly attain sustainability. Thus, algae-based bio one best resources meet today’s challenges. Algal increase product’s marketability carry multiple therapeutic properties, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective actions. These multidimensional qualities algal piqued interest food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical industries resulting most potential implementation. a paradigm shift requires identifying communities having higher biopigment-producing ability for future manufacturing commercialization as sustainable way forward. Hence, study has been designed effective isolation screening isolates (i.e. DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4, DS5) from different region sundarban water concerning investigation chlorophyll-a, chlorophyll-b carotenoid). In nutshell, shows DS2 isolate produces significant quantity carotenoid (9.729 mg/g DCW), chlorophyll (7.872 b (7.176 DCW) amongst all isolates. present reveals might be predecessor production, pivotal applications near future.
